No matter the size and shape of your organization, we've got the tools to help you succeed!

Live Webinars for Give Big Nonprofits

The "Final Training: Give Big Details" is MANDATORY for all first and second year nonprofits. It is highly recommended for all nonprofits, especially those with new staff or board members helping with Give Big. All other trainings are optional.

All trainings will be recorded. If you’re not able to attend live, the recording and slides will be available on this page after the training.


Giving Days 101

March 12th, 2-3 PM MT

WHAT:
Learn the fundamentals of Give Big Gallatin Valley, including how to use platform features to
support a successful giving day. This training will be led by GiveGab Project Manager Kalia, who
will walk through the Give Big website, share tips for navigating the platform, and highlight best
practices drawn from giving days across the country. The One Valley team will conclude by
reviewing what a giving day is and is not, along with key resources and goal setting guidance.
Time will be reserved at the end for questions.

WHO:
Highly recommended for first-year nonprofits and organizations considering registration.
Returning nonprofits are encouraged to attend to learn about updates to the website and this
year’s initiative.

Peer to Peer Fundraising

March 19th, 2-3 PM MT

WHAT:
Peer-to-peer fundraising invites supporters to share why your work matters with the people they know, expanding your reach beyond existing donors. In this training, GiveGab Project Manager Kalia Kornegay will walk through how to use the platform with confidence, and Emily Allison and Olivia Wathne from Bridgercare will share practical tips for engaging peer-to-peer fundraisers. Participants will leave with clear next steps, sample outreach ideas, and practical strategies to put into action right away.

WHO:
Ideal for organizations exploring peer-to-peer funding for the first time or looking for ways to expand its impact as part of your Give Big strategy.

Give Big for Small Nonprofits

March 26th, 2-3 PM MT

WHAT:
This training is designed for small nonprofits preparing for Give Big. Together, we will walk
through how to set a realistic and meaningful fundraising goal, identify the core actions that
make the biggest difference, and share examples from fellow small nonprofits. The session will
also outline clear, manageable steps for planning and outreach, with an emphasis on using
focused tools and resources to support success without overextending capacity.

WHO:
This session is intended for organizations
with limited staff or smaller operating budgets. First time participants or
returning organizations seeking a more focused and manageable approach to the giving day are also welcome.

Final Training: Give Big Details

April 2nd, 2-3 PM MT

WHAT:
This is the most comprehensive training offered for Give Big 2026 and is designed to ensure
nonprofits feel prepared and confident heading into the giving day. The session will cover rules
and requirements, key dates, logistics, day of events, outreach opportunities, and payment and
receipt details. This training has been specially designed to cover questions nonprofits typically
ask from April through June.

WHO:
Mandatory for at least one representative from all first- and second-year nonprofits. Highly
recommended for all participating organizations.

How to Use Peer-to-Peer Fundraising

Peer-to-Peer Fundraising leverages your most passionate supporters to fundraise on behalf of your organization. In this training, Emily Allison of Bridgercare and GiveGab team members will provide the tools you need to recruit and empower champions for your cause by enabling them to share their personal stories with their own networks. Learn how P2P fundraising can expand your reach, introducing new donors and additional donations to your organization.

Arina will be sharing how to create a strong strategy prior to the big event and also creative ways to engage donors during 24 hours of Give Big. We will provide time afterwards for Q&A. Matches & Challenges

Dollars can go a lot further when leveraged as Matches and Challenges. In 2024, organizations that did not utilize matches or challenges raised an average of $3,874. Organizations that DID utilize matches and challenges raised an average of $28,918! In this webinar, Kaitie Branton, our GiveGab Project Manager, will share what these gifts are, how they function in GiveGab, and strategies to successfully gamify your campaign with these major gifts!
